Chris Noth has left USA’s hit series “Law & Order: Criminal Intent ” and it was revealed that Jeff Goldblum is set to take his place on the show.”Law & Order”’s boss Dick Wolf said:

“Jeff’s presence will add a new dimension to an already successful show.”"Chris has been a member of the ‘Law & Order’ family since the beginning, and [his character] Mike Logan is one of the most popular detectives in the history of television.”We wish him all the best”.

“Criminal Intent’s” eighth season is scheduled to premiere later this year.

“Sex and the City” actor Chris Noth has left “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” after he shared leading-role duties with Vincent D’Onofrio for five seasons.Noth played Detective Mike Logan in “Law and Order” that has had its ratings slipping for a while now.
Mr. Big aka Noth is currently shooting a romantic comedy called “My One and Only” with Renee Zellweger.
