Desperate Housewives Ending:Season 7 Series Finale

Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry has revealed at a meeting of the Television Critics Association on Thursday that he will end the series after its seven seasons.Cherry said:

“I love working with these gals, but the idea of letting anyone else take the show from me kind of makes me sad and sick to my stomach.” “We’re going to get out while people still like us.”

Desperate Housewives’ season five will premiere this fall.

James Denton Desperate Housewives Return

For the die hard fans of James Denton here are some good news,he is not leaving Desperate Housewives.Although in the flash-forward episode of Desperate Housewives Susan (Teri Hatcher) and her husband Mike Delfino (James Denton) have split up, Denton will be back.James told People:

“Mike and Susan have definitely split up.”But I am “not sure exactly in what capacity. [Series creator] Marc Cherry is being a little cagey. “It’s going to be interesting to see what happens. But I will certainly be on the show. It’s a relief to me, trust me.”

Few ladies must be happy right now.

Neal McDonough has joined the cast of Desperate Housewives.McDonough who previously played in “Medical Investigation,” and “Boomtown,” will be coming to Wisteria Lane as a love interest to one of the ladies that the producers are keeping secret.
In related “Desperate Housewives” news Gale Harold (”Queer as Folk”) has been revealed as the mystery man seen kissing Susan (Teri Hatcher) in the final flash-forward scene during the season finale.

Nicolette Sheridan has exited from ABC’s hit show Desperate Housewives. Sunday night’s episode had a storyline dictated to the departure of her character, Edie, who abruptly left Wisteria Lane after a confrontation with all four of the show’s leading ladies.The show creator Marc Cherry said:

“Yes, Edie’s gone,” “She won’t be back for a few years.”
