Weeds Ratings Record For Return

The season premiere of “Weeds” on Monday (June 16) created a record-breaking night for Showtime. It was “Weeds” first airing at 10 p.m.,and the show averaged more than 1.3 million viewers, a 64 percent boost over the show’s third season premiere and well over the 488,000 and 578,000 viewers who tuned in for the first and second season premieres.According to reports:

“Weeds” premiere just short of becoming Showtime’s most watched telecast ever, coming in just behind the 1.4 million viewers who tuned in for last winter’s “Dexter” finale. [Some reports actually have the "Weeds" premiere nipping the "Dexter" finale as Showtime's most watched program in four years.]

The show is pretty decent, let us hope it will stay that way.
