Patrick Swayze “The Beast” A&E
Patrick Swayze who is winning his battle with pancreatic cancer will star in an original drama series called “The Beast” on A&E this fall.The New York Times reports:
The Beast, which goes into production this summer, will star Patrick as “an unorthodox FBI agent with a past.”A&E execs said they decided to proceed with plans for the show based on positive reports from Patrick and his doctors.
Swayze said:
“I can’t wait to work on this.”

I SURVIVED SURGERY OF PANCREATIC CANCER, IN 1996. IM STILL HERE AND DOING GREAT. THE TUMOR WAS LOCATED AT TAIL OF PANCREASE, THO I WAS GIVEN A DEATH SENTENCE TO LIVE 2-4 MONTHS, I WAS LIKE PATRICK AND DIDNT SEE THIS ANSWER WAS MY ONLY CHOICE. I TOOK MY EX-RAYS AND LAB REPORTS TO EMORY HOSP. IN ATLANTA, GA, AND MET WITH A GREAT SURGEON, DR. CHARLES STALEY, WHO AFTER VIEWING MY REPORTS SAID WE.RE GOING IN AND GET THAT BAD BOY OUT. THEY DID AND I AM STILL GOING STRONG. THE TUMOR I SUFFERED FROM WAS CALLED A VIP-OMA. I JUST WANT OTHERS TO KNOW, WE CAN BEAT THIS THING. LOVE TO PATRICK I WISH HIM THE BEST IN LIFE AND HIS NEW SERIES
