British singers Melanie Brown aka Mel B and Charlotte Church are battling it out to join Simon Cowell and pop star Dannii Minogue on the upcoming fifth season of The X-Factor.Charlotte and Melanie are presently in talks to replace Sharon Osbourne on the top-rated UK talent competition.Sources say:

“Sharon has wanted more money every series since The X Factor started. This time, she was demanding $5 million. It was too much and we called her bluff…..Mel’s in pole position to join the judging panel. She’s ideal and Simon Cowell is eager for her to join the team,” “The producers know having Charlotte [Church] on board would be a huge boost.”

Fans of the original Beverly Hills, 90210 are in for a little surprise when the spinoff hits The CW this fall.The CW’s 90210 spinoff is being filmed at Torrance High School, the same California high school where the original series was shot.Sources say:

Renowned for it’s classic Spanish-style architecture, Torrance High was also the shooting site for the fictional Sunnydale High School featured in the television series Buffy The Vampire Slayer. The new 90210 begins shooting it’s debut season, on-location at Torrance High, next week.

The series will air on The CW Network in September.
