Nicolette Sheridan “Desperate Housewives” Exit

Nicolette Sheridan has exited from ABC’s hit show Desperate Housewives. Sunday night’s episode had a storyline dictated to the departure of her character, Edie, who abruptly left Wisteria Lane after a confrontation with all four of the show’s leading ladies.The show creator Marc Cherry said:

“Yes, Edie’s gone,” “She won’t be back for a few years.”

Edie waged a neighborhood war against Bree (Marcia Cross) stemming from a kissing “incident” with Orson (Kyle McLachlan) during Sunday night’s episode.Edie was confronted and forced to leave the neighborhood after trying to blackmail Bree with revelation of the identity of her son benjamin’s biological parents.
